Alpha Bank signs the first RRF small business loan in the Greek Market

A significant milestone for PRIORITY occurred as the first Recovery and Resilience Fund (RRF) small business loan in Greece was disbursed by Alpha Bank on behalf of Spyridakos Group IKE. Serving as the project’s technical advisor, PRIORITY actively supports businesses in their modernization efforts contributing to the ongoing transformation and development of the Greek economy.

The total investment, amounting to Euro 1.127 million, will help the company to implement its investment plan for the acquisition of building facilities and hotel equipment on Serifos Island. More specifically, this investment is intended for upgrading Mr. Spyridakos’s hotel complex through the installation of a photovoltaic system to produce electricity under the net metering regime. Additionally, it includes the procurement of an electric vehicle for transporting guests to and from the hotel.

In his statement on the loan agreement signing, Isidoros Passas, General Manager of Retail Banking at Alpha Bank, said: “Today’s agreement underscores the accessibility of RRF funds for small businesses, which constitute the backbone of the Greek economy. Our strategic focus is to collaborate as partners in Greek entrepreneurship implementing modern development plans to enhance competitiveness and generate new jobs. This loan agreement activation unleashes funds from an advanced financial tool that serves as a pivotal catalyst for growth in sectors like tourism, aiding in this way in reinforcing extroversion and the green transition of the Greek economy”.
