IFS Food

It is the food safety standard introduced by the German and French Retail Association and is addressed to all food industries that export products to the supermarkets of these countries.
The integrated Food Safety Management System, according to IFS for food requirements focuses on:
a) The quality management of products and services
b) The food safety of products
c) Site Security against from malicious and ideologically motivated attack leading to contamination
d) The management of food fraud issues
The last version of the standard is divided into six (6) chapters:
1. Senior management commitment
2. Food safety and quality management system
3. Resource management
4. Planning and Production Process
5. Measurements, Analysis, Improvements
6. Food defence plan & external inspections
