AGRO 3-1, 3-2, 3-3, 3-4 & 3-5- Quality Assurance Standards for Pork |

AGRO 3 Standards series were issued by the AGROCERT in 2002 having the validity of a branch standard aiming at establishing specific rules for the big meat Quality Assurance throughout the whole production chain. The requirements of AGRO 3 start from the Specification for the production of pig feeding stuffs (AGRO 3.1), continue with the specifications for farming for pig fatening (AGRO 3.2) and for pigs slaughtering (AGRO 3.3) and finish with the specification for cutting, deboning, processing and packing of pig meat (AGRO 3.4). The Standard AGRO 3 aims at the fulfillment of the higher requirements for the assurance of quality of pig meat adopting a stable to table approach. The Standard AGRO 3 can be implemented from the primary production through the final processing and packing of pig meat included all the requirements for the whole pig meat production chain.
