PRIORITY can design, install, customize and operate a monitoring system for logging and controlling the energy consumption (both electrical and fuel) of buildings and installations. A typical PRIORITY energy management system will perform the following functions:
- Record and display electrical power and oil consumption (including several electrical parameters e.g. voltage, power, power coefficient, etc.)
- Communication with the control server and transfer the gathered data
- Create energy consumption reports
The energy consumption parameters recorded by the system include:
- Electrical energy consumption
- Active, Reactive, Apparent Power
- Power coefficient
- Voltage frequency
- Oil or gas consumption per hour
The communication between the energy consumption gauges and the system control center is achieved via Ethernet Gateways, as shown in the following diagram:

The energy consumption data are logged in real time by the control center, processed by PRIORITY staff and displayed in charts and reports.

The reports (daily, weekly, monthly) include:
- Daily electrical and fuel consumption per hour
- Daily electrical and fuel consumption per m2, employee and hour
The reports may be used to identify inefficient practices and habits in the use of electrical energy and fuel, thus leading to the adoption of measures aiming at power saving and CO2 emission reduction. These measures are mostly zero or low cost and have a short term return on investment. PRIORITY can consult you on such measures and follow up to their successful implementation and the reporting of their effectiveness and contribution to the reduction of energy consumption.
During and after the implementation of such measures, PRIORITY will produce weekly and monthly reports comparing the consumption prior to and after the implementation of specific measures, quantifying their effectiveness. The results are translated into total money savings per year.
